Stitched on 28 count lilac linen

I stitched one band per month for the 2016 Hallowe'en Ornie SAL

I used a skeleton charm from Pink Cat Charms and Crafts

33. Forget-Me-Not in Stitches 1862 Snowflake

stitched on 28 count Millenium Blue evenweave

1862 Snowflake by Forget-Me-Not in Stitches from JCS Christmas Ornie Special 2010

I used silver thread instead of beads around the outside and didn't use the petite white beads charted.

You can see the shape of the snowflake much better without them.

On the Winter Wonderland Tree

32. Mill Hill Beaded Trumpet

Stitched on 14 count Christmas Green aida

I substituted green Magnificas for the petite green beads and 

some red Mill Hill for the charted cranberry which I didn't have.  

I stitched this on aida rather than the perforated paper provided so I could use two strands instead of three,

I made the same changes to this Ornie as I did with #1

I stitched on 28 count burgundy linen.  

I used the yellows as charted but changed the accent colour to DMC 321 and all the backstitch to DMC's gold 5284.  

I also changed the beads to 42011.

This was a gift from Vickie.

I used the charted DMC 902 for the darker red and substituted 3722 for the charted 3726 which looked too brown to me.  

I also used standard size beads instead of the charted petite.  

The standard beads filled the spaces much better than the petites.  

Plus I had them in my stash and didn't have the petites!

Kreinik 001HL and 014 blended for snowflakes instead of RG Arctic Rays

I used the yellows as charted but changed the accent colour to DMC321 and all the backstitch to DMC's gold 5284.  

I also changed the beads to 42011 because I didn't have enough 40557 and I thought they were prettier too.
